Pretzel Salad

Refreshing and so yummy, this is great for any buffet dinner. Can be used as a dessert or side dish

Ingredients

  • 2 2/3 Cup crushed pretzels
  • 1 1/2 Cups soften butter
  • 12 Ounces Cream cheese
  • 1 1/2 Cup sugar
  • 10 Ounces frozen strawberries
  • 1 6 Ounces strawberry jello
  • 2 Cups hot pineapple juice
  • Cool Whip - Optional

Directions

  1. Cream sugar and cream cheese together until smooth
  2. Mix pretzels and butter together and press into 9 X 13 pan and bake 10 minutes
  3. Spread cheese mixture over warm pretzel, chill until cool
  4. Dissolve jello in hot pineapple juice and frozen strawberries, chill and then pour over the cream cheese mixture
  5. You may wish to spread cool whip over the jello if you would like. My family likes it without.
