Pork Chop Dinner With Bacon And Cider Gravy

Ingredients

  • 3 slc Bacon
  • 4 x 4-ounce boneless pork loin chops, trimmed of fat
  • 1/4 c. Onion
  • 4 ounce Uncooked egg noodles
  • 2 c. Frzn green beans
  • 1 c. Apple cider or possibly juice
  • 1 tsp Honey mustard
  • 1/4 tsp Salt
  • 1/4 tsp Dry thyme
  • 1/8 tsp Pepper
  • 1 Tbsp. Cornstarch
  • 1 Tbsp. Water

Directions

  1. Cook bacon till crisp. Drain well, crumble & set aside.
  2. Spray skillet with Pam. Add in chops & onions & cook 3-5 min till chops are golden, turning once.
  3. Meanwhile, cook noodles to desired doneness, adding green beans during the last 4 min of cooking time.
  4. Combine cider, mustard, salt, thyme & pepper. Pour over chops. Reduce heat to low; cover & cook 10 - 15 min or possibly till pork is no longer pink in center. Remove chops & keep hot.
  5. Combine cornstarch & water. Add in to juices in skillet & mix well. Cook & stir over medium low heat till bubbly & thickened. Boil 1 minute.
  6. To serve, add in bacon to gravy. Pour over noodles, green beans & chops.
