Ingredients

  • 2 c. sugar
  • 2 c. all-purpose flour, sifted
  • 1 stick butter
  • 1/2 c. Wesson oil
  • 4 T cocoa
  • 1 c. water
  • 1/2 c. buttermilk
  • 1 teaspoon soda
  • 1 teaspoon cinnamon
  • 1 teaspoon vanilla
  • 2 large eggs
  • 2 sticks butter
  • 4 T cocoa
  • 6 T lowfat milk
  • 1 box powdered sugar
  • 1 teaspoon vanilla

Directions

  1. Preheat oven to 400 degrees. In a big mixing bowl, put together sugar and flour. Bring to boil in saucepan, butter, oil, cocoa and water. Pour over sugar and flour, mix well. Add in buttermilk to that has been added soda. Then add in cinnamon, vanilla and large eggs. Mix well. Grease and flour pan. Batter will be thin. Bake 25 min. Cool and frost.
