Ingredients

  • 1/2 pound bulk breakfast sausage
  • 2 c. all purpose flour
  • 1/4 c. grated Parmesan cheese
  • 2 teaspoon mixed Italian dry herbs (basil, oregano, marjoram)
  • 1 teaspoon salt
  • 2/3 c. vegetable oil
  • 1/3 - 1/2 c. ice water
  • Warm pizza dipping sauce (recipe follows)
  • sliced tomatoes & celery sticks
  • Mint leaves for garnish

Directions

  1. Savory, pizza flavored snacks are first formed into little balls, baked crisp, then served with a warm pizza flavored sauce as a dip. You can prepare the Pizza Dips ahead and reheat them before serving.
