Ingredients

  • 1 lb Sirloin steak, 1/2" thick
  • 4 Tbsp. Margarine
  • 1 lrg Onion, minced
  • 2 x Cloves garlic, chopped
  • 3 c. Fresh mushrooms, sliced
  • 3 Tbsp. Flour
  • 1 1/2 c. Water
  • 3 x Oxo beef bouillon cubes
  • 3/4 c. Lowfat sour cream
  • 2 Tbsp. Tomato paste
  • 1 1/2 tsp Worcestershire sauce

Directions

  1. Slice meat into thin strips.
  2. Heat 1 tbsp margarine in a large frying pan, saute/fry meat quickly leaving pink inside; remove from pan.
  3. Stir fry onion, garlic and mushrooms in 1 Tbsp margarine till tender; remove from pan and toss with meat.
  4. Heat remaining 2 Tbsp margarine in same pan, whisk in four and gradually add in water; stir till smooth.
  5. Crumble OXO bouillon cubes into pan, cook stirring constantly till mix is smooth and thickened.
  6. Add in lowfat sour cream, tomato paste and worcestershire sauce; heat gently stirring till smooth.
  7. Add in meat and vegetables to sauce mix; cook stirring just till heated.
  8. Serve over warm noodles, sprinkle with parsley.
