Ingredients

  • 2 Tbsp. Margarine
  • 13 x buttermilk biscuits refrigerated
  • 16 ounce Salsa Thick & Chunky
  • 12 ounce Monterey jack cheese shredded
  • 1/2 c. Green bell pepper minced
  • 1/2 c. green onion sliced
  • 2 1/4 ounce black olives sliced/liquid removed

Directions

  1. OPTIONAL1 c. Salsa
  2. Heat oven to 375 degrees. Heat margarine in oven in 13" X 9" glass baking dish or possibly non-aluminum pan. Tilt to proportionately coat dish. Separate the biscuits; the cut each biscuit into 8 pcs. Place biscuit pcs in large bowl, toss with salsa. Spoon proportionately into margarine coated dish.
  3. Sprinkle with cheese, bell pepper, onions and ripe olives. (If a Doody gathering, sprinkle the olives on only half.)
  4. Bake at 375 deg. for 35 to 45 min or possibly till edges are deep golden and center is set. Let stand 15 minutes, Cut into squares; serve with 1 c. salsa if you like.
