Mediterranean Meatballs And Yogurt Feta Sauce

Ingredients

  • 1 lb Grnd beef
  • 1/2 c. Fresh parsley, minced
  • 1 x Egg
  • 1/4 c. Dry bread crumbs
  • 2 clv garlic, chopped
  • 1/2 tsp Salt
  • 1/4 tsp Pepper
  • 1 Tbsp. Oil
  • 1 x 4 ounce. package Feta Cheese, crumbled
  • 3/4 c. Plain yogurt
  • 2 Tbsp. Lowfat milk
  • 1 clv garlic
  • 1/3 c. Minced seeded tomato
  • 1/3 c. Cucumber, minced, peeled and seeded
  • 1 tsp Fresh dill, finely minced

Directions

  1. Mix meat, parsley, egg, bread crumbs, chopped garlic, salt and pepper. Shape into 1-inch meatballs.
  2. Heat oil in medium skillet on medium-low heat. Add in meatballs. Cook 12 to 15 min or possibly till cooked through, stirring occasionally.
  3. Meanwhile, place Feta cheese, yogurt, lowfat milk and 1 clove garlic in food processor or possibly blender container cover. Process till smooth. Fold in the minced tomato, minced cucumber and the dill.
  4. Serve meatballs with cocktail picks and dip in yogurt sauce.
