Ingredients

  • Ready-prepared pie crust, (4 slice)
  • 1/4 c. Light butter, melted
  • 1 c. Sugar
  • 2 lrg Large eggs
  • 2 lrg Egg whites
  • 1 1/2 c. Fat-free buttermilk
  • 2 1/2 Tbsp. All-purpose flour
  • 1/2 tsp Grnd cinnamon
  • 1/4 tsp Salt
  • 1 Tbsp. Vanilla flavoring

Directions

  1. Preheat oven to 425 degrees.
  2. Cover pie crust with aluminum foil (shiny side down) and bake for 10 min. Remove crust from oven and cold on wire rack. Turn heat down to 350 degrees.
  3. Prepare filling by combining light butter and sugar. In a separate bowl, combine all Large eggs and beat with a wire whisk till frothy. Add in the Large eggs to the sugar mix.
  4. In a separate bowl, combine buttermilk and flour and stir till the flour dissolves. Stir in cinnamon, salt and vanilla flavoring.
  5. Pour mix into the pie cooled pie crust and bake at 350 degrees for 35-40 min or possibly till pie tests done. Cold before slicing.
