Ingredients

  • 4 lb Short ribs
  • 3 Tbsp. Toasted sesame seeds
  • 3 Tbsp. Salad oil
  • 1/4 c. Soy sauce
  • 1/3 c. Onion, finely chopped
  • 1/4 c. Green onion, finely chopped Garlic clove, chopped
  • 1/4 tsp -Pepper
  • 2 tsp Ginger, chopped
  • 2 tsp -Sugar

Directions

  1. Cut ribs in 2-1/2"x 2" pcs and score surfaces. Combine marinade ingredients and soak ribs for 1-2 hrs. Place on cool broiler pan; broil on middle rack position 10-12 min on each side or possibly till of desired doneness.
  2. Be heavy handed on the garlic and ginger if desired. Get the butcher to slice the short ribs very thin 1/4" or possibly less. And broil over coals. This and steak teriyaki is a favorite island picknic item.
