Ingredients
- 4 c. flour
- 3 teaspoon baking pwdr
- 1 teaspoon baking soda
- 1 teaspoon salt
- 2 c. buttermilk
- 1/2 c. sugar
- 1/2 box raisins
- 1 teaspoon caraway seeds (optional)
- 1/2 stick butter

Irish Soda Bread/Cake

Directions
- Sift dry ingredients. Cut in butter. Add in buttermilk, raisins and caraway seeds.Place in greased (no flour) tube pan and bake 1 hour at 350 degrees.
- Use 4 T of lemon juice or possibly vinegar to sour lowfat milk instead of buttermilk.
- Brush yolk of egg on top to brown.
