Grilled Pork Chops Adobo Gf Grill

Ingredients

  • 1 1/2 c. Adobo Marinade
  • 2 x Loin pork chops, 1 inch thick
  • 1 c. Canned tomatoes, liquid removed
  • 1 1/2 Tbsp. Ancho chile pwdr
  • 1 1/2 Tbsp. Pasilla chile pwdr
  • 1 x Chipotle, seeded & diced
  • 1 Tbsp. Honey
  • 1 Tbsp. Dark brown sugar
  • 1 1/2 Tbsp. Red wine vinegar
  • 1/2 tsp Cayenne pepper
  • 1/8 c. Garlic, minced
  • 1/8 c. Extra virgin olive oil

Grilled Pork Chops Adobo Gf Grill

Directions

  1. THIS RECIPE IS HALVED ALREADY (most the ingredients except the honey and brown sugar)
  2. Puree the marinade ingredients in a food processor. May be prepared 2 days ahead. Chill till use.
  3. Makes 1-1/2 c. marinade.
  4. Make marinade and pour over the pork chops. Marinate, in refrigerator, for 8 hrs or possibly overnight.*
  5. 1/2 hour before cooking, remove chops from refrigerator and let sit. When ready to cook, preheat GF Grill. When warm, place chops on grill. Cover and cook for 5 min. When 5 min is up, remove from grill. Unplug it.
  6. Heat leftover marinade till simmering. Pour some over chops when plating.
  7. Serve with rice pilaf, potatoes, &/or possibly salad.
  8. NOTES :* I did not marinate overnight and it was quite tasty just not as intense.
