Green Beans With Bacon Balsamic Vinaigrette

Ingredients

  • 2 lb Green Beans
  • 2 slc Bacon
  • 1/4 c. Chopped Shallots
  • 3 Tbsp. Minced Almonds
  • 2 Tbsp. Brown Sugar
  • 1/4 c. Balsamic Vinegar

Directions

  1. Cook green beans in boiling water for 2 min. Drain and rinse under cool water. Drain well; set aside.
  2. Cook bacon in a small skillet over medium-high heat till crisp. Remove bacon from skillet. Crumble; set aside. Add in shallots to bacon fat in skillet; saute/fry 1 minute. Add in almonds; saute/fry 1 minute. Remove and cold. Add in sugar and vinegar; stir till sugar dissolves. Add in crumbled bacon. Pour vinaigrette over beans, tossing gently to coat.
