Ingredients
1 c. sugar
1 c. shortening
1 c. buttermilk or possibly sour lowfat milk
2 teaspoon soda
2 teaspoon baking pwdr
1 teaspoon salt
Vanilla
Spice (opt.)
Sufficient flour to make soft dough
1 c. molasses
Directions
Roll out on floured board. Cut and bake at 370 degrees till done.
