Grandmother's Soft Molasses Cookie Recipe

Ingredients
- 1 c. sugar
- 1 c. shortening
- 1 c. buttermilk or possibly sour lowfat milk
- 2 teaspoon soda
- 2 teaspoon baking pwdr
- 1 teaspoon salt
- Vanilla
- Spice (opt.)
- Sufficient flour to make soft dough
- 1 c. molasses
Directions
- Roll out on floured board. Cut and bake at 370 degrees till done.
