Golden pork chops in wine sauce

Ingredients

  • 400 g boneless pork chops
  • 2 tbs olive oil
  • 20 g butter
  • 1/2 tbs cornstarch
  • 1 cup red wine
  • 1/2 tsp sea salt
  • 1/2 tsp ground black pepper
  • 2 tbs Ranch BBQ sauce
  • 60 g Parmesan cheese, grated

Golden pork chops in wine sauce

Time: 10 minutes prep, 35 minutes cook
Servings: 2 servings
 

Directions

  1. Sear the chops in olive oil for 5 minutes on both sides over medium heat. Remove from the pan and set aside. Reserve the oil in the pan where they were fried.
  2. Add the butter to the oil which cooked chops. Sprinkle with cornstarch and let it brown stirring constantly.
  3. Add red wine and a little water, mix well, reduce the heat and cook for 4 - 5 minutes, stirring constantly, until slightly creamy. Season with salt and black pepper.
  4. Mix well Ranch BBQ sauce with the grated Parmesan cheese. Make a paste and put equal portions of the mixture on the chops.
  5. Return the chops to the pan with sauce and bake in the oven for 15 minutes at 200°C until tender and golden.
