Gingered Pepper Jelly

Ingredients

  • 1 1/2 cup Fresh hot peppers,seeded and deviened
  • 1 Tbsp Red Pepper Flakes
  • 1 cup apple cider vinegar
  • 4 cups Sugar
  • 1/2 cup Ginger People Ginger Chips
  • 1 Package Sure Jell Pectin

Gingered Pepper Jelly

Time: 15 minutes prep, 11 minutes cook
Servings: 6 Cups
 

Directions

  1. Chop Hot peppers to a med fine in a food processor
  2. Combine Peppers, Pepper flakes, vinegar, and ginger in a non-reactive pan (Stainless Steel).
  3. Bring to a gentle boil for 10 minutes, stirring occasionally.
  4. Add pectin, stir and boil for an additional minute.
  5. Pour into sterilized bottles with rings and flats, seal tightly. Put in hot water bath for 10 minutes, remove. Caps should seal as they cool.
