Fried Potato With Ginger And Mushroom Sauce

Ingredients

  • 2 x Potatoes (cut into rounds) (up to 3) Oil for deepfrying [1/2 inch]
  • 1 tsp Cornstarch/flour
  • 2 Tbsp. Water
  • 2 Tbsp. Oil
  • 1 tsp Garlic (minced)
  • 1/2 x Sweet pepper (cut into strips)
  • 2 x Scallions (1 inch sections)
  • 4 Tbsp. Light soy sauce
  • 1 tsp Sugar
  • 1/2 tsp Grnd white pepper Coriander

Fried Potato With Ginger And Mushroom Sauce

Directions

  1. Deep fry potatoes till golden. Mix the flour and water. Fry the garlic and add in the rest in turn. Finally thicken with the cornstarch/water mix. Pour over the potatoes and garnish with coriander.
