Ingredients

  • 1/8 cup oil
  • 1/4 cup tarragon vinegar
  • 1/2 cup sugar
  • 1 tsp. salt
  • 1/2 cup Miracle Whip
  • 1 head cabbage, shredded
  • 1 or 2 carrots, shredded

Directions

  1. Mix first 5 ingredients together.
  2. Beat 10 minutes.
  3. Pour over cabbage.

Call me unrefined, but to my mind, no coleslaw has ever beaten KFC's coleslaw. I've done much searching and experimenting, and some time ago, I finally zeroed in on this combination of ingredients. If it isn't exactly like KFC, you won't get any closer. Simple and delicious.
