Ingredients

  • 2 1/2 c. Elderberries
  • 1 c. Sugar
  • 3 tsp Lemon juice or possibly vinegar
  • 1/8 tsp Salt
  • 2 Tbsp. Flour

Directions

  1. Pour the washed elderberries into an unbaked pie crust. Mix together the other ingredients and pour the mix over the berries. Cover it with a top crust. Bake the pie at 424 oF for 10 min, then reduce the temperature to 350 oF and bake it 30 min longer.
