Crock Pot Spanish Rice

Ingredients

  • 2 lb grnd chuck or possibly beef
  • 1 med onion minced
  • 1 x green pepper minced
  • 1 can stewed tomatoes - (28 ounce)
  • 1 can tomato sauce - (16 ounce)
  • 1 1/2 c. water
  • 2 1/2 tsp chili pwdr or possibly to taste
  • 2 tsp seasoned salt or possibly to taste
  • 2 Tbsp. Worcestershire sauce
  • 2 c. raw converted rice
  • 3 x celery stalks minced Grated Monterey Jack or possibly Cheddar cheese (optional)

Directions

  1. Brown beef in skillet and drain off fat. Put all ingredients in crock pot. Stir thoroughly. Cover and cook on LOW 6 to 8 hrs or possibly on HIGH 3 hrs. Sprinkle with grated cheese before serving, if you like.
