Cracker Candy

Ingredients

  • 2 1/2 cups Oyster Crackers
  • 3/4 cup unsalted butter
  • 3/4 cup firmly packed brown sugar
  • 2 cups milk chocolate morsels
  • 1/2 cup chopped pecans

Directions

  1. Preheat oven to 350 degrees Fahrenheit. Line a 12 x 9-inch pan with aluminum foil and lightly spray with non-stick cooking spray.
  2. Place crackers in prepared pan and set aside.
  3. Meanwhile in a small saucepan, bring butter and brown sugar to a boil, stirring constantly and cook, stirring often, 3 minutes. Pour mixture over crackers.
  4. Bake for 5 minutes. Turn oven off. Sprinkle crackers with chocolate and let stand in oven for 3 minutes or until chocolate melts.
  5. With the back of a spoon, spread chocolate evenly over crackers. Top with pecans.
  6. Cool; break into pieces. Store in refrigerator.
