Ingredients

  • 1/2 cup sugar
  • 1/3 cup cocoa
  • 3 tbsp butter
  • 1/2 cup milk
  • 1 cup crushed roasted peanuts
  • 1 cup desiccated coconut

Cocoa Coconut And Peanut Candy

Time: 50 minutes prep, 30 minutes cook
Servings: 4 person
 

Directions

  1. Marie Bain or into a pot over another pot of boiling water, add
  2. sugar, cocoa, butter and milk.
  3. Stir and cook until sugar is dissolved for a thick texture.
  4. Remove and cook down a bit.
  5. Add in peanuts and coconut.
  6. Mix all together for thick dough.
  7. Tightly roll and wrap with glad wrap.
  8. Leave it in the fridge for at least 3 hours.
  9. After that, cut into slices.
  10. (Depending on whether you like the cookie or thick brownie version)
  11. Place on greased baking tray.
  12. Bake at 170C for 30 mins or for a texture you prefer.
  13. Bring out, cool down and store them.
  14. Optional - dust some icing sugar on top.
