Classic Sweet And Sour Pork

Ingredients

  • 1 Tbsp. cornstarch
  • 1 Tbsp. Kikkoman Soy Sauce
  • 1 lb boneless pork cut 1" cubes
  • 2 Tbsp. vegetable oil
  • 2 x carrots thinly sliced
  • 1 x onion chunked
  • 1 x green bell pepper chunked
  • 1 c. Kikkoman Sweet & Sour Sauce
  • 1 can pineapple chunks - (8 ounce) liquid removed

Classic Sweet And Sour Pork

Directions

  1. Blend cornstarch and soy sauce in small bowl; stir in pork till well coated. Brown pork in warm oil in Dutch oven or possibly large skillet over medium-high heat. Stir in 1/4 c. water. Cover and simmer 20 min, stirring occasionally.
  2. Stir carrots, onion, bell pepper and sweet & sour sauce into pork mix. Simmer, covered, 10 min longer, stirring frequently. Add in pineapple; cook and stir only till chunks are heated through.
  3. This recipe yields 4 servings.
