Ingredients
- 2 to 3 lbs. chicken, cut up
- 2 tbsp. butter
- 1/2 c. water
- 1 c. sliced onion
- 1/4 teaspoon poultry seasoning
- 1 can Cream of Chicken soup
- 1 (10 ounce.) pkg. frzn mixed vegetables
- 1 c. packaged biscuit mix
- 1/3 c. lowfat milk

Chicken Stew'n Dumplings

Directions
- Sprinkle chicken with 1/2 tsp. salt, and dash of pepper. Brown in butter in large heavy pan. Add in water, onion, poultry seasoning. Cover and simmer 30 min. Stir now and then. Combine biscuit mix and lowfat milk; spoon dumplings onto stew. Cook uncovered 10 min. Cover and cook 10 min longer. Makes 4 servings.
