- 1 x 3-lb. Chicken
- 8 x cloves Roasted garlic, mashed
- 1 Tbsp. Dry rosemary
- 1 tsp Dry thyme Fresh grnd black pepper to taste
- 1/3 can Soda or possibly beer

Directions
- 1. Preheat the grill. Rub the outside of the chicken with roasted garlic, rosemary, thyme, and black pepper.
- 2. Stand the chicken on the beer can, legs down, with the can inserted into the bird's cavity. Then stand the "canned" chicken on a low grill, over indirect heat.
- 3. Close the cover of the grill. Cook the chicken for 1 1/2 hrs, rotating it a bit every 20 min.
- 4. Remove the chicken when the internal temperature reaches 160 degrees F with an instant-read thermometer. Cold the chicken 10 min before removing from the can and carving.
