Ingredients
- 2 to 3 pound chicken
- 2 tbsp. butter
- 1/2 c. water
- 1 c. sliced onion
- 1/4 teaspoon poultry seasoning
- 1 can cream of chicken soup
- 1 pkg. (10 ounce.) frzn mixed vegetables
- 1 c. packaged Bisquick mix
- 1/3 c. lowfat milk

Directions
- Salt and pepper the chicken and brown in butter in heavy skillet. Add in water, onion, poultry seasoning; cover and simmer 30 min. Stir in soup, vegetables. Bring to boil, cover and simmer 10 min more; stir now and then. Combine Bisquick mix and lowfat milk and spoon dumplings onto stew. Cook uncovered 10 min. Cover and cook 10 min longer. 4 servings.
