Applesauce is good all by itself. You can also use it as an ingredient in recipes or use it as a topping or side dish.

Ingredients

  • Fresh Apples
  • Sugar

Directions

  1. Cut your apples. Don’t worry about removing the stems and cores.
  2. Cook your apples. The easiest way to cook your apples is using a steamer juicer. There’s no stirring and no burning.
  3. Run your soft apples through a sauce Victorio Food Strainer.
  4. Add ¼ cup of sugar to each quart of applesauce.
  5. Process your applesauce in a boiling water canner.
  6. Check your lids for a seal and store.
