Ingredients

  • 2 x bacon slices finely minced
  • 8 ounce cream cheese softened
  • 1/4 c. lowfat sour cream
  • 2 Tbsp. mayonnaise
  • 2 Tbsp. prepared horseradish
  • 2 Tbsp. finely minced green onion
  • 1 x garlic clove chopped
  • 3/4 c. shredded sharp cheddar cheese
  • 1/4 tsp freshly grnd black pepper

Directions

  1. Cook bacon till crisp on medium-high heat. Remove with slotted spoon and drain on paper towels.
  2. In small-size slow-cooker stoneware, combine cream cheese, lowfat sour cream, mayo, horseradish, green onion, garlic, Cheddar, pepper, bacon bits. Stir well. Cover, cook 1 hour on high setting; stir, cover and cook on high 30 min. Serve or possibly hold on low setting.
  3. Use as potato chip dip or possibly spoon on endive spears for elegant presentation. Excellent on baked potatoes.
