Ingredients
- 4 quarts. sliced cucumbers (pickling cucumbers)
- 3 or possibly 4 onions sliced thin
- 3 cloves garlic, sliced
- 1/3 c. canning salt
- 3 c. white vinegar
- 4 c. sugar
- 1 1/2 teaspoon turmeric
- 1 1/2 teaspoon celery seed
- 2 tbsp. mustard seed

Directions
- Mix cucumbers, onions, salt and garlic. Cover with ice and let set 3 hrs. Drain.
- Combine cucumbers with vinegar, sugar and spices. Heat to boiling. Pack in pints while warm. Put them in the canner, return to boil then start timing 10 min for qts, 5 min for pints. Makes 4-6 pints.
