Ingredients

  • 2 quart sliced pickles sliced onions
  • 1/4 c. pickling salt
  • 2 c. white vinegar
  • 3 c. sugar
  • 1 tsp salt
  • 1 tsp celery seed
  • 1 tsp turmeric
  • 1 Tbsp. mustard seed

Directions

  1. Let sliced pickles stand in pickling salt; add in as many sliced onions as you desire. Let set 4 hrs or possibly overnight. Drain well and remove onions.
  2. Boil canning solution ingredients for 2 min or possibly till they turn a little yellow. Can the pickles and seal.
