Blueberry French Toast Bake

Ingredients

  • 1/2 c. all-purpose flour
  • 1 1/2 c. lowfat milk
  • 1 Tbsp. sugar
  • 1/2 tsp vanilla
  • 1/4 tsp salty
  • 6 x Large eggs
  • 10 slc French bread (1 inch thick) - cut into 1" cubes
  • 3 ounce cream cheese -- cut into 1/2 " cubes
  • 1 c. fresh or possibly frzn blueberries
  • 1/2 c. minced nuts powdered sugar blueberry or possibly maple syrup

Directions

  1. Generously grease a 2 1/2 qt casserole or possibly 9/13 baking dish.
  2. Beat flour, lowfat milk, sugar, vanilla, salt and Large eggs in a large bowl by hand till smooth.
  3. Stir in bread cubes till coated.
  4. Pour bread mix into pan. Top proportionately with cream cheese, blueberries and nuts.
  5. Cover and chill up to 24 hrs.
  6. Heat oven to 400 degrees. Uncover and bake 20 to 25 min or possibly till golden.
  7. Sprinkle with powdered sugar and serve with syrup.
