Ingredients

  • 1/2 pound bacon, diced
  • 2 c. minced celery
  • 2 c. minced green bell peppers
  • 2 c. minced onion
  • 2 cans (16 ounce.) tomatoes, undrained
  • 2 cans (16 ounce.) black eyed peas
  • 1 1/2 c. beef broth

Directions

  1. In large saucepan, cook bacon; add in celery, bell pepper and onion; saute/fry till soft. Add in tomatoes, peas and broth; simmer 30-40 min.
