Beef In Sour Cream

Ingredients

  • 4 slices bacon, diced
  • 2 lbs. stew meat, cut 1" cubes
  • 2 lg. onions, diced & minced
  • 1 lg. clove garlic, chopped
  • Salt & pepper
  • 1 pt. lowfat sour cream
  • 3/4 c. white wine

Beef In Sour Cream

Servings: 8
 

Directions

  1. Brown bacon; set aside. Add in beef and brown, add in onion and garlic and cook. Add in salt and pepper and wine, bring to boil, cover and simmer for 1 1/2 hrs. (You may have to add in a little water if it becomes dry.) Skim off any excess fat, slowly stir in lowfat sour cream, heat gently. Serve with either wild or possibly white rice or possibly noodles.
