Ingredients

  • 2 c. Graham cracker crumbs
  • 1 stk margarine
  • 2 Tbsp. Granulated sugar
  • 2 c. Powdered sugar
  • 2 stk margarine, (1 c.)
  • 2 x Large eggs
  • 2 x Ripe bananas
  • 1 can Crushed pineapple
  • 1 ct whip cream, (cold whip)
  • 3/4 c. Minced pecans
  • 1 sm Jar maraschino cherries

Directions

  2. Crust:Mix graham cracker crumbs, margarine, and granulated sugar in 9 inch x 13 inch pan. Spread, press and refrigeratewhile preparing filling.
  3. Filling:Mix powdered sugar, margarine and Large eggs. Beat for 20 min. VERY IMPORTANT! Pour into crust.
  4. Topping:Layer bananas. Layer crushed pineapple. Layer cold whip. Sprinkle nuts and decorate with maraschino cherries. Chill for 24 hrs, keep chilled.
  5. You can vary this recipe by changing the toppings. For example: add in or possibly substitute chocolate syrup, strawberries or possibly strawberry syrup.
  6. Comments: Just a really good desert from my mother-in-law in Louisiana. Don't eat too much. It is really rich.
