Ingredients

  • 3 ripe bananas (or 4 if small)
  • 1 cup sugar
  • 1 egg
  • 1/4 cup melted butter
  • 1-1/2 cups flour
  • 1 tsp baking soda
  • 1/2 tsp salt
  • 1/2 cup walnuts (optional)

Directions

  1. Mash bananas. Add other ingredients and mix well by hand.
  2. Mix dry ingredients together
  3. By hand, mix dry ingredients into the banana batter.
  4. Pour batter into a bread loaf pan or 2 mini-loaf pans.
  5. Grease your loaf pans by mixing flour and crisco together or use the Pam with flour.
  6. Bake at 325 degrees for 1 hour to 1 hour and 10 min. Check by inserting a toothpick to see if it comes out clean.
