Apricot Orange Sherbet

Ingredients

  • 2 c. Dry apricots
  • 1/2 c. Orange juice
  • 1 1/2 c. Sugar
  • 2 1/4 c. Water
  • 2 x Egg whites

Apricot Orange Sherbet

Servings: 12
 

Directions

  1. Cook apricots and water till done. Drain. If there isn't two c. liquid left add in water. Add in sugar to liquid and cook till well disolved. Cold.
  2. Mash apricots. Add in orange juice. Add in both to chilled syrup. Put in freezer.
  3. When hard, place in well chilled bowl. Add in unbeaten egg whites. Beat till fluffy. Return to freezing compartment.
  4. This recipe makes a lot ofsherbet.
