Pico de gallo salsa

A mild, fresh delicious alternative to the bottle salsa that is a total crowd pleaser!!

Ingredients

  • 8-12 Roma Tomatoes
  • 1/2 bunch of fresh Cilantro
  • 2 medium sized limes
  • 1/2 red onion
  • 2 cloves garlic
  • 3 bunches of green onion
  • Salt to taste
  • Pepper to taste

Directions

  1. dice up tomatoes, garlic, cilantro, and green onion (I use a cheese grater to grate the red onion, it gives you the onion taste without biting into a chunk of onion.
  2. microwave limes for 15 seconds (warming them brings out the juice in the lime)
  3. mix all ingredients into a bowl, squeeze the limes into the mixture and salt and pepper to taste!
