Pasta With White Cream Sauce

Ingredients

  • 3 Tbsp. chopped onions
  • 1/2 c. chicken broth, defatted
  • 2 c. nonfat lowfat milk
  • 1/3 c. all-purpose flour
  • 1/2 c. dry white wine
  • 1 tsp chicken soup base
  •     salt and white pepper, to taste
  • 3 Tbsp. Parmesan cheese, freshly grated
  •     pasta - any kind, cooked and liquid removed

Pasta With White Cream Sauce

Servings: 1
 

Directions

  1. Cook onion and broth in saucepan till liquid evaporates. In a small bowl, whisk flour with lowfat milk. Add in to pan with onions and whisk, cooking till sauce begins to thicken. Add in wine, soup base, and season with salt and pepper. Blend in Parmesan cheese, and cook over low heat for 2 to 3 min, till well blended. Serve over your favorite pasta.
