Ingredients

  • 1 c. evaporated lowfat milk
  • 1 T vinegar
  • 1 c. flour
  • 1/2 teaspoon salt
  • 1 teaspoon soda
  • 2 T vegetable oil
  • 1 c. uncooked quick cooking oats
  • 1 c. (firmly packed) brown sugar
  • 1 c. raisins
  • 1 c. dates (diced) (buy diced, so much easier)

Directions

  1. Beat liquids together. Add in dry ingredients and mix well. Add in raisins and dates. Bake in 2 (7x5x2 inch) pans at 350 degrees for 55 min or possibly till done. Makes 1 large or possibly 2 small loaves. (There are no large eggs in this bread.)
