Ingredients
- 1/2 c. all-purpose flour
- 1/2 c. whole-wheat flour
- 1/2 c. yellow cornmeal
- 1/2 c. quick or possibly old-fashioned rolled oats
- 1 Tbsp. sugar
- 2 tsp baking pwdr
- 1 tsp baking soda
- 6 Tbsp. vegetables oil
- 2 lrg Large eggs
- 2 c. buttermilk - (to 2 1/2) Minced nuts (optional) Cider Syrup (see recipe)

Grand Waffles With Cider Syrup

Directions
- In a mixing bowl stir together all the dry ingredients. Add in oil, Large eggs, and buttermilk. Beat together. The batter should be thicker than the pancake batter.
- Follow the directions for your waffle iron. Sprinkle nuts over batter just before baking, if you like.
- This recipe yields 10 to 12 waffle sections.
- Yield: 10 to 12 waffles
