Eggnog and Cranberry Christmas Braid...and a Giveaway! Recipe

Ingredients

• 1 tablespoon instant yeast
• 1/2 cup all purpose flour
• all of the sponge
• 3/4 cup sour cream
• 1/2 cup ( 1 stick) unsalted butter, softened
• 2 large eggs, slightly beaten
• 1/4 cup sugar
• 2 teaspoons salt
• 2 teaspoons vanilla
• 4 1/2 – 5 cups Flour
• egg wash for brushing braid*
• 2/3 cup cream cheese, softened
• 2 tablespoons sugar
• 1/4 cup eggnog
• 1/4 cup all purpose flour
• 1 cup prepared cranberry relish
• For frosting, combine 2 tablespoons softened butter, 2 tablespoons
• softened cream cheese, 1 cup powdered sugar, and 2-3 tablespoons eggnog. Beat
