Ingredients

  • 1 1/2 cup – All purpose flour or maida (sieve it twice)
  • 1 cup – Plain yogurt / curd (at room temperature)
  • 1 cup – Sugar
  • 1/2 cup – Canola oil (any cooking oil)
  • 1/2 tsp – Baking soda
  • 1 1/4 tsp – Baking powder
  • 1 1/2 tsp – Vanilla essence
  • 3 tbsp – Sugar syrup (make syrup with 1 tbsp sugar and 3 tbsp water cook until sugar dissolves) For butter cream frosting:
  • 1/2 cup – Butter
  • 2 cups – Icing sugar
  • 2 tbsp – Milk (as needed)
  • 1/2 tsp – Vanilla essence Preparation method:
