Crockpot Chicken And Sausage Recipe

Ingredients
- 1 Tbsp. extra virgin olive oil
- 4 x garlic cloves crushed
- 1 med onion minced
- 1 x red pepper minced
- 1 x green pepper minced
- 1 sm zucchini minced
- 1 can mushrooms
- 1 can Italian stewed tomatoes
- 1 can tomato paste - (6 ounce)
- 1/4 lb warm sausage
- 2 x chicken breasts
- 1 tsp Italian seasoning Red pepper flakes (optional)
Directions
- Heat oil in skillet. Saute/fry onion and garlic till light brown. Remove. Add in sausage and chicken to brown in the skillet. Drain and pat dry.
- In crockpot combine all remaining ingredients together with the onions and garlic. Add in the sausage then top with the chicken breasts. Cover and cook on low setting 6 to 8 hrs.
