Ingredients

  • 1 can black-eyed peas - (16 ounce)
  • 2 c. Cheez Whiz
  • 1 can chili without beans - (10 ounce)
  • 1 can minced green chilies - (4 ounce) undrained
  • 1 lrg onion minced
  • 1 tsp grnd Cumin
  • 1 tsp dry oregano
  • 1/4 tsp garlic pwdr
  • 1/2 tsp Tabasco sauce

Directions

  1. Add in peas to food processor; process till smooth. Heat Cheez Whiz in microwave.
  2. Combine peas, Cheese Whiz and remaining ingredients. Pour into greased 8-inch square baking dish. Bake, uncovered, at 350 degrees for 40 to 45 min.
  3. Serve warm with tortilla chips.
  4. This recipe yields about 5 1/2 c.; 16 servings.
