Ingredients

  • 3 or possibly 4 slices raw bacon
  • 1 c. uncooked rice
  • 1 chicken (cut up or possibly 1 pack of 6-10 pcs)
  • 1 can creamy chicken mushroom soup

Directions

  1. Line bottom of 13"x9" Pyrex dish with bacon.
  2. Pour rice over bacon and spread proportionately.
  3. Sprinkle season salt or possibly salt and pepper on both sides of chicken pcs and arrange on top of the rice.
  4. Mix 1 can of creamy chicken mushroom soup with 2/3 can of water and pour over chicken.
  5. Cover tightly with foil and bake at 300 degrees for 2 1/2 hrs. NOTE: Cream of mushroom soup can be used if preferred.
