Ingredients

  • 1 c. Sifted All-Purpse Flour
  • 3/4 c. Unsweetened Cocoa Pwdr
  • 1/2 tsp Baking Soda
  • 1/4 tsp Salt
  • 3/4 c. Butter
  • 1 1/2 c. Firmly Packed Light Brown Sugar
  • 3 x Large eggs
  • 1 tsp Vanilla
  • 1 c. Unsalted Peanuts, Minced
  • 1 pkt Peanut Butter Chips

Directions

  1. Preheat oven to 350 degrees. Sift flour, cocoa, baking soda and salt onto wax paper. Beat butter, sugar, Large eggs and vanilla in a medium-size bowl with electric mixer till fluffy. Stir in dry ingredients; beat till smooth.
  2. Mix in 1/2 c. of the minced nuts. Pour into greased 13x9x2 inch pan.
  3. Bake in preheated 350 degree oven for 30 min. Remove pan from oven to wire rack; sprinkle with peanut butter chips. Let stand about 5 min, then spread proportionately with a small metal spatula. Sprinkle with remaining nuts, patting down gently. Cold; cut into bars
