Bacon Chocolate Chip Cookies Recipe
Ingredients
- 1/2 cup rendered bacon fat
- 1/2 cup butter
- 1 1/2 cups brown sugar, packed
- 2 eggs
- 2 tsp vanilla
- 1 tsp maple syrup
- 1 tsp baking powder
- 1 tsp baking soda
- 1/2 tsp salt
- 2 cups flour
- 1 cup dark chocolate chips
- 1/4 cup bacon, cooked and chopped

July 13, 2012Hey Daniel. I like this recipe. I agree, there is something about a sweet/salty combo that really gets the taste buds going. I would probably add walnuts to the top with a caramelized brown sugar bacon glaze to really send them over the edge. Thanks for the ideas!
