Za'atar Spice Mix Recipe
This spice mix is inspired by a few years my family spent living in Saudi Arabia many moons ago. It is a delicious, subtle and floral spice blend which adds a rich taste of the Middle East to any recipe you can think of!
Ingredients
- 30g Sumac ( Smoked Paprika will also work)
- 30g Thyme
- 30g Oregano
- 30g Marjoram
- 30g Toasted Sesame Seeds
- Pinch Coarse Sea Salt
- 2 tbsp Rapeseed Oil ( Or any neutral flavored oil you prefer)
Directions
- Weigh out your spices accurately
- Add to a food processor along with the oil and blitz lightly until combined
- Move the Spice Mix to a sealed jar or container and enjoy
