Wrap And Roll Sandwiches

Ingredients

  • Filling:
  • 1 cup feta (or any cheese you like)
  • 1 onion
  • 3 tbsp olive oil
  • ½ tbsp pepper or tomato paste
  • black pepper
  • cumin
  • red pepper flakes
  • ½ bunch of parsley, minced
  • Dough:
  • 2 ½ cup flour
  • ¼ cup water
  • ½ cup milk
  • 1 tsp salt

Wrap And Roll Sandwiches

Time: 20 minutes prep, 20 minutes cook
Servings: 6 Pieces
 

Directions

  1. Saute onion in olive oil until golden
  2. Add pepper or tomato paste in it.
  3. Season it and stir.
  4. Add minced parsley and take it from fire.
  5. Mix all ingredients for dough.
  6. Pour the liquids little by little until reaching the right consistency.
  7. Cut it into six pieces.
  8. And make them balls.
  9. Cover them with a wet pieces of cloth so that they don’t dry when you are working.
  10. Dust the counter with some flour and roll out the balls as big as a plate about 1/6 inch thickness.
  11. Cook it on a non stick pan until both sides get brown.
  12. Be careful do not overcook it, 1 ½ minutes will be enough for each side.
  13. Take the tortilla from fire and spread 1 ½ tbsp filling on it leaving spaces on each edges when it’s still hot.
  14. Wrap it up and tighten the edges with your fingers so that the filling doesn’t ooze.
  15. Repeat the same steps for all balls.
  16. Serve them hot.
