  • Vegetarian 7-Layer Dip
  • Serves 6-8 People
  • Ingredients:
  • 2 can of refried beans (vegetarian brand)
  • 2 ounces shredded cheddar cheese
  • 2 ounces pepper-jack cheese
  • 2 cups fresh guacamole
  • 6-8 ounces sour cream
  • 6-8 ounces fresh salsa
  • 1 head of finely chopped iceberg lettuce
  • 2 cups chopped tomatoes
  • Procedure:
  • In a 9x13 oven-safe pan, layer the refried beans in the bottom so they are equally spread. Next, place the cheddar and pepper jack cheese over the beans. Place the pan in a 350 degree oven for 12-15 minutes, or until the cheese is fully melted and bubbling. Remove from the oven and let cool for 10 minutes.
  • Spread the guacamole over the cheese and bean mixture. Add the sour cream next, then the fresh salsa.
  • Lastly, cover with the chopped lettuce, then garnish with chopped tomatoes.
  • Serve with corn chips.

        Too rich for me. I enjoy a range of dishes that includes all of these but separately! Like to choose a little here and there.
        Gluten free AND vegetarian too. Is that being awkward? I donot do eggs of yeast = badly sick. It does make things a more planned event but K ha d ok growinv repertoire. Rices, spices, pastas. Loads of fruut and vrgetables, cotrage cheese, yoghyrt, salads, now movinv knto biscuits and cakes Yum! Those marmaladd biscuits sound really good - more please......
